ABOUT THE ANTHOLOGY

Easterday Editorial is excited to present our third mixed-media anthology, Valhalla Awaits: A Norse Mythology Anthology! This anthology collects comics, illustrations, short stories, and poetry featuring gods, monsters, magic, and more from across the Nine Realms of Norse mythology by 25 talented artists and writers.

Valhalla Awaits will be available as both a digital PDF eBook and a paperback book. The book contains 68 pages of original content including 3 poems, 4 short stories, 7 comics, and a dozen illustrations, all rendered in dramatic, high-contrast black and white with a full-color cover illustrated by Brandon Mullins. The paperback book will be printed at U.S. trade size (6 in. x 9 in.) with a velvety soft-touch cover.

ABOUT THE MERCHANDISE

Along with digital and paperback editions of the anthology, we have four additional Norse mythology-themed merchandise rewards.

• Sticker Set: This includes five water-resistant matte vinyl stickers illustrated by Wyvern Loopy. Four of the stickers depict various creatures from Norse mythology, and the fifth sticker depicts the word tree Yggdrasil.

• Print Set: This includes two 5 in. x 7 in. art prints illustrated by VC Carson. This diptych features the Norse gods Hod and Baldr and will be printed on satin photo paper.

• Acrylic Charm: This is a double-sided acrylic keychain illustrated by Ace Hetisimer. The charm features the Norse goddess Freyja with her cat chariot with one side of the charm depicting her in battle regalia. The charm will also include a special cat-shaped clasp.

• Bookmark Set: This set of three bookmarks illustrated by Ace Hetisimer, Amb K., and CalSab depicts aspects from Norse creation myths. 100% of proceeds from the sale of this bookmark set will be donated to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund.

THE PROJECT SCHEDULE

This Crowdfundr campaign will run through February 28, 2025. All of the artwork for Valhalla Awaits: A Norse Mythology Anthology has already been completed, so we plan on sending the book to print and producing the accompanying merchandise as soon as we receive the funds from this campaign. We expect that we can begin fulfilling orders in late March 2025 or early April 2025.
