Joy in an Ugly World is a jazz quartet full length album built around an original composition of the same name. The album asks the listener to focus on the positive aspects of life, no matter how small, and to find moments of hope in uncertain times. Blending traditional jazz, contemporary arrangements, and global influences, the project explores a sense of melancholy happiness and emotional resilience.
I am fundraising because I am so close to finishing this LP and I need your help to get over the finish line. I've done all of the heavy lifting and we are in the final stages of mixing and mastering. Please help me get this album out into the world.
