I got diagnosed with ADHD in the past year. Part of my diagnosis journey has included taking a hyper-focus deep dive on the topic and writing a book for Microcosm Publishing, which will come out in Spring of 2026.
Over the course of my writing, I naturally have to draw. A comment from my brother sparked a certain line of doodling from me. Namely, he said my "DHD was Advanced." And this got me thinking to how back 30 some years ago, I was very interested in the table top RPG that was then known as Advanced Dungeons and Dragons.
I even made a little comic strip of a conversation between me and my imaginary Socratic dialogue partner, Booger Bear.
This little cartoon entertained the heck out of me, and it got a lot of laughs out of everyone I showed it to. I even designed a little Advanced Dungeons Have Dragons parody based an iteration of the old TSR logo.
It turns out that there's a lot of
overlap between people who play table top role playing games and
people who have ADHD.
Anyway, I thought it would be super fun to make some enamel pins. These are the kind of things best made in batches of 100 or more. Since it seemed especially silly to keep 100 of these all too myself, I thought a little Crowdfundr Campaign would help get these beauties out in the world.

It's as important to our souls as human beings to have meaningful communication outlets. And to come together, share ideas, pass on knowledge, and keep old traditions alive while learning new techniques.
Also, they are quick to help out members of the community when they can, and they've helped put on the Portland Zine Symposium for the entirety of the 21st Century to date!
