I am Helen Rosemier, an artist based in London, UK, currently crowdfunding the production of Zones of Possibility as a limited-edition photo book.
This work began in 2020 and was made during an exploration to find the shape and size of my world - the borders and boundaries, myths and mysteries, ghosts of the past - an uncanny landscape where everything seems fragile and temporary, always in flux. Zones of Possibility combines images made during a prolonged period of isolation with photographs from the family archive and touches on universal themes such as impermanence, the presence of absence, and grief. The result is a quiet, contemplative visual journey, open to the interpretations of the viewer.
All the images have now been completed and brought together in a
small softback book format by a professional designer, ready to print.
