First of all, thank you to everyone who came out for our second merch
pickup yesterday! It was great to meet so many more of you in person
and we're looking forward to our final pre-opening pickup in a few
weeks (Thursday, June 15th from 7-11pm).
As for the book update, unfortunately M Ebel and Jake Kurzer will not
be able to complete the additional adventure that was unlocked as part
of our stretch goals in time for our print deadline. To ensure we
still get the book completed before our pre-release events, friend of
the brewery Zack Barcus is stepping in to write the story of Dayspring
on an expedited turnaround. Zack is the co-founder of the
TTRPG-centric Slap Dash
Studios, where he is currently DMing the second season of the hit
actual play podcast The League of Ultimate Questing, in
addition to DMing professionally for local Portland events like
Wayfinder's Goblin Up. While we're bummed by the last minute change,
Zack puts together some of the most intricate encounters we've ever
played, and we can't wait for him to bring his vision for the golden
city to life.
