Just a quick update on the Crowdfundr - we didn't reach our target of
£10,000 so the funding page will roll over and can still receive
donations. With the money raised we will:
- Create the posters, pin badges and prints so everyone will receive
what they purchased.
- We will complete and print a 'Part One' section of the story for
everyone who purchased the full copy. You will still receive the full
copy if/when we are successful with further funding.
- We will use the money to match fund for more funding from Arts
Council England and other funding bodies.
- We will be using some to pitch at the Graphic Medicine Conference
in Ireland where we have been invited to present on taking our story
'from stage to page'.
We are raising funds for a graphic novel adaptation of my play The Life and Soul which toured with Red Ladder Theatre Company in 2016, and its' sister piece The Parting Glass which toured in 2019.
