All physical orders have officially been shipped! Thank you so much for your support of this project. I had so much fun writing and creating this for you all, and I look forward to seeing what you think of the game!
Of course, please let me know if there are any issues with your order when it arrives. I have extra copies on standby should anything get damaged en route. I took precautions with packaging, but you never know what the postal service will do!

Tea & Toadstools Progress!
Hello lovely humans and hedgehogs!
There are some exciting updates going on behind the scenes of Tea & Toadstools! The game has been playtested, wording and rules clarified, and artwork assembled and laid out. Froggo playing the banjo was the second spot art piece that won the poll on Twitter, and Natalie again drew up a couple of options for us to decide between.
We
decided quickly that the first sketch brought out Froggo's personality
the best, and Natalie finalized the sketch (border added by me).
I just love how he turned out, don't you??
Additionally, I decided that the instructions section of the book could use a graphic to help with a visual explanation of how moves around the board work, and I commissioned my friend DungeonDelves (@DelvesDaily on Twitter) to create that graphic for me. They even included an adorable drawing of Hedgie looking to the next card they're going to!
I'm
finalizing the layout of the book today, and then it'll be off to
Jonathan for them to do an editing pass on so physical books can be ordered!

Tea & Toadstools: 108% Funded! Thank you all!
The campaign has ended with 108% of the goal reached!
Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who contributed, shared, liked, and supported this crowdfunding campaign in a myriad of ways. We couldn't have done this without you!
I'm currently in the middle of editing and augmenting some of the text based off of my and Natalie's playtests of the game. I'm ensuring that wording for the instructions is clear first and foremost, and I'm looking into adding graphic instructions for folks to whom visual representations are easier to follow.
Additionally, I'm adding optional "next day" rules for if Hedgie doesn't make it to their tea and freedom from their nosy neighbors in time. When I streamed the beta test yesterday, I lost all my Resources before getting to the Goal Card and I like the way that I modified the rules on the fly for a second chance for Hedgie to enjoy the sun and tea. There will also be optional wording for if you want to make the game easier or harder to complete, as well!

While we didn't fully hit the second stretch goal, we DID raise enough money for two spot artworks for the interior of the game! The first one was voted on by folks on Twitter, with the clear winner being Dr. Raccoon. Natalie drew up a couple of options as she did with the cover art of Hedgie, which you can see below.
We
agreed that the fourth drawing was the clear winner, so Natalie
finished that one up and sent it my way! Here's a little sneak preview

The Crowdfundr goal has been reached,
with 10 days still to go on the campaign! Thank you to each and every
one of you for your contributions and support of this solo TTRPG. I'm
excited to see how you all bring Hedgie's story to life in your own
unique ways!
Some updates about the current status of the game: I have only a couple more oracle cards left to write, after which point, I'll be sending the working document off to Natalie. They're going to be doing a beta playtest of the game on their Twitch channel! Once the playtest is complete and any finicky little kinks worked out, which always come with games, I'll be sending the working document to Jonathan to edit!
Now, while the goal has been reached, that doesn't mean that it's the end of the Crowdfundr! We have a series of stretch goals that would be an absolute dream to reach, if we can!
Stretch Goal 1 is to hit $1,600 so that Natalie draw five additional pieces of artwork for the interior of the game book — while this goal itself is an additional $500, there are steps within it for each piece, and as we reach those goals, Natalie will be drawing spot, 1/4 page, and 1/2 page pieces of Hedgie's nosy neighbors!
A view behind the curtain: when Natalie first started drawing Hedgie, she sent me a couple of options, all with very different styles of both our hedgehog hero and their mushroom home!
As you
can tell, we settled on a combination of 3 and 4, taking 3's mushroom
home and 4's hedgehog, and giving them a twill vest!
I
absolutely love how Natalie brought Hedgie to life! The first of their
neighbors Natalie will be drawing once we hit the first step in the
stretch goals is Dr. Raccoon, as decided by the Twitter poll a couple
of weeks back. I'm so hopeful and excited to see them, and we'll be
sharing the sketches with you as we get closer to that stretch goal!

We've hit the halfway point — 52% funded!!
I'm over the moon to have hit the halfway point a little over a week into this Crowdfundr campaign! Hedgie's story is coming along nicely, and I can't wait to get this game into your hands!!
While things are quiet at the moment on the back end, I've been writing more prompt cards for the game, including one pesky punk rock rat who just really thinks Hedgie would like his music if they gave it a chance!
Additionally, the poll results came in, and if we hit that first stretch goal before the end of the campaign, the first of Hedgie's neighbors that Natalie will be illustrating inside the book is Dr. Raccoon!
Dr.
Racoon won the poll with 66.7% of the vote, Mx. Mouse in close second
with 33.3% of the vote. Hopefully, we'll get to see these lovely (and
troublesome!) neighbors drawn in their full glory in the final

Hey all, as of today, the Crowdfundr is at $379 (34%) raised, which officially means that my wonderful editor, Jonathan, can be paid for their hard work! 🥳

Speaking of Mountaintop Isolation, it's now been translated into Spanish! The translated PDF is available at no additional cost on my itch.io shop! It was translated by Belén Almeyda, a literary translator who offered to do the translation for me for free. If we reach our goals for Tea & Toadstools, one of my stretch goals is to have them translate the game into Spanish (and pay them for their beautiful work!!)

Day 1: 28% of the goal reached!
Admittedly at the time of writing this, we are less than 24 hours into the Crowdfundr, but I'm at KatsuCon this weekend and wanted to be sure that I get a message written and scheduled to go out to you all before I'm busy for the rest of the day!
That being said, I'm so, so thankful to each and every one of you for contributing, sharing, and hyping up Tea & Toadstools! We're at 28% of the goal reached so far at the moment, which means that Natalie is getting paid for their hard work on the beautiful artwork of Hedgie and we are very close to the goal of being able to pay Paptimus for their skillful and thoughtful editing.
I
also wanted to showcase the gorgeous dice that RuneFable is
making for this Crowdfundr! He wanted to pull the cozy, mossy vibes of
the cover into the dice, and specializes in the petri method of
pouring dice, which was a big part of why I reached out to him to
collaborate on this project! Anyone who knows me also knows that I'm a
sucker for funky-shaped dice, and these shard-style dice certainly fit
the bill! Because of the methods RuneFable uses, each die is unique in
its own way, though the colors, gold foil, and green sparkles are used
across all the dice!
Thank you again for all your support!! There's still plenty of time to go in the campaign, and I'm really hoping that we reach at the very least that first stretch goal so that Natalie is able to make even more beautiful drawings of Hedgie's woodland neighbors for inside the game — are there any you would particularly love to see?
