AHHH! IT'S GODZILLA! AND KING KONG! And they're…in BOOTY SHORTS?!

WHAT

Hi, I’m Kelci D Crawford, a webcomic artist, and I drew these!

WHY

Oh boy, buckle up.

So Godzilla’s booty happened because at last year's Small Press Expo, there was a cartoonist party at Fantom Comics in DC. During that party, folks set up a jam comic - basically a sheet of craft paper the size of a table, so artists can draw a comic one panel at a time.

At that party, our group made Godzilla and the Toe. It involved Godzilla, well-drawn feet, booty shorts, and beaches.

And King Kong?

Well, I had to draw Godzilla with a buddy! Especially during one of my YouTube Livestreams, where I drew these two for your viewing pleasure.

I had also been low-key inspired by nerdile art, who appeared at Animarathon this year with Magical Girl Godzilla stickers. I got one, fell in love, and needed to make something just as silly.

What better silly thing to make than a joke that came out during a cartoonist party?

So there! We now have Godzilla and King Kong having a great, booty-ful time. And now…I want to make holographic stickers of them! Because these booties need to sparkle.

HOW

I have the files ready to send to Stickerapp, my printer of choice for this particular project.

So why run a campaign at all? To see how many folks want these fat-bottomed Kaiju sticking on every available surface so they can share their joy!

You tell me how many stickers you want. I’ll tally up the total orders by the end of the campaign, send what’s needed to Stickerapp, and then they'll send me the stickers. From there, I’ll mail out everyone's orders with a custom card and my thanks (I’ll keep the glitter to a minimum).

It's going to take $108 to cover printing 50 stickers (25 of each design) plus shipping. If we reach $165, then we can make 100 stickers (50 for each design) plus shipping! Beyond $165? That's EVEN MORE stickers!

This campaign will take orders until May 24 at 11:59 pm!

After that, the order window will close, and the requests will be sent to the printer. Everything after that? I’ll be keeping you updated in the Updates tab and in my email newsletter.

FAQ

"Is this an all-or-nothing campaign, or keep-it-all?"

This is a keep-it-all campaign, which means that any orders placed are processed right away. This is different from an all-or-nothing campaign (like a KickStarter) that processes payments at the end of a campaign.

I did this because a) the campaign is already so short, b) the asking goal is set low, and c) if we don't hit the base goal, the stickers can still happen - just at a more limited capacity. If we make our goal, though, it would make producing the stickers WAY easier.

"What will you do with any funding raised beyond the base goal?"

MAKE. MORE. STICKERS! The objective of this campaign is to print as many of these stickers as possible. So funds raised beyond our base goal will go to printing even more stickers.

"Why is shipping free for USA backers?"

Base shipping prices have been added to the price of the rewards. I figure since many of the rewards are easy to ship, this would make the math easier for you.

"Why is this campaign only a few days long?"

For a couple of reasons. 1) I want to try to get these stickers made in time for a bunch of shows happening in June. 2) I've noticed that past Crowdfundr campaigns do best when they're short - like, a week at most unless it's for a book. Also, the asking goal is low enough that I figure we should be able to hit it before the end of the week.
