Premiering at Burning Man 2025, the 1:44 Lotus Flower Portal is more than an art installation— it is a soul sanctuary, a cosmic temple, and a vibrant beacon for planetary awakening. The lotus is a symbol of enlightenment and the unfolding soul. Rising from the sands of Burning Man like a resilient lotus from the mud, this is a sacred space of stillness, beauty, and transformation. 

Created by Harlan Emil Gruber , whose Portal installations have graced Burning Man since 2004, and Maraya , a gifted South African artist and intuitive visionary, this collaborative installation is space for collective transformation - a call to awaken the crystalline DNA - ‘Om Mani Padme Hum’, I am the Jewel in the Lotus Flower.

The experience within the Portal will offer moments of reflection, deep connection, and inner peace. Maraya's meditations and Tibetan Bowl recordings play softly on a sound system, while at night it will be gently lit with slowly fading hues of blue (for willpower), to pink (for compassion), to gold (for wisdom) to create a serene, meditative and transformative atmosphere.
