Snail Mail Press wants to make it easy to find and support underground indie artists from the world over! With your help, we’ll be creating a global monthly snail-mail subscription box featuring unusual and rare underground art - from zines and prints to stickers and pins.

For years Noah, who runs Zine-o-Matic, has been scouring neighborhood bookstores for cool artists and skulking around zine fests for funky art finds. The result - Zine-o-Matic has built a worldwide network of indie artists who are pursuing their passion of creating weirdo art.

And now we need your help tapping into this network so that talented artists can reach a new audience, and so YOU can get the best that the underground art community has to offer.

What can I expect to find in a Snail Mail box?

I'm glad you asked, my little cabbage! This is the beauty of a Snail Mail Press box. It's customizable! You tell us what medium of art you prefer, and how much of it!

So one month's box could have:

• Up to 3 art prints
• Up to 3 different stickers
• Up to 3 weird zines
• Up to 2 funky pins

• Fairly compensating indie artists for their craft
• Inventory, inventory, and more inventory! All of the art included in Snail Mail Press boxes needs to be sourced, in stock, and ready to go before the packages can be sent out

FAQs

How often will you ship out the boxes?

Once a month on the 1st of every month.

When will you ship out the rewards?

The first Snail Mail Press box will be shipped on the 1st of October. Other rewards will be shipped much earlier.

What countries do you deliver to?

We will be delivering  worldwide at launch, but currently we can only ship to the United States.

Am I going to get an original Picasso painting?

Umm, no. We’ll be supporting indie underground artists.

Risks and challenges

I’ve been running Zine-o-Matic for 7 years, so I don’t expect to have too many hiccups when creating Snail Mail Press. I’m going to work hard to limit any shipping and packaging snafuus, so the only major risk could be a delay in everyone getting their rewards. I’ve been shipping out zines on time for years, so I’m not expecting problems in this department.

There is also the small risk that getting a Snail Mail Press box will make you incredibly more attractive to people of every gender.
