OUR TURTLE: SIMON...
SIMON the TURTLE - is a built-from-scratch, remote-controlled, electric mutant vehicle....
Simon's design is simple:
Two motors, two batteries, two motor controllers.
And with more than 10,000 LEDs adorning his flippers and shiny dichroic turtle shell, SIMON radically illuminates the night, creating a breathtaking light show for rider's inside his cuddle puddle carapace.
OUR JOURNEY:
Since 2017, SIMON has traveled all around the US...
...sharing the Turtle Love at Regional Burns like:
SN-RG (NV)
Saguaro Man (AZ)
Emergence (SC)
Bequinox (CA)
Love Burn (FL)
Venice Afterburn (CA)
We've also been to Hotel EDC in Las Vegas, and for the past 3 years, Elements Festival in Long Pond, PA cruising SIMON around on the Pocono Raceway. We were also invited as a "Post-Playa Art Piece" to the Reno-Tahoe International Art Show in 2024, and 2025.
OUR CHALLENGE:
The past few years have been particularly hard on SIMON....
Thousands of miles on the road traveling around the US, plus surviving multiple destructive windstorms at home, SIMON is in some serious need of some TLC.
OUR 2026 GOAL:
RECRUIT AND REPLACE!
