Pit your old-fashioned wits and wondrous new technology against
diamond-studded nobility, cybernetically enhanced gangs, dirty cops
with a vendetta, and high-fashion psychopaths. The struggle is real
when you're far from home.
You
will need a 10-sided die and a deck of playing cards to play this game.
You have three stats:
HEALTH is a general representation of the
amount of blood still left in your body.
WANDS are your mental
powers. Use wands when you try to solve problems by casting spells,
talking people down, or planning exceptional escape
routes.
LASERGUNS are your physical powers. Use laserguns when
you try to solve problems by running away from them or gunning down
everyone around you.
WANDS & LASERGUNS is designed to pitch players into a fast-paced series of quirky and highly lethal fights.
To begin, split your deck of cards into two piles: Numbers and Faces. For each encounter, draw one of each and then consult the tables. You’ll be fighting a lot of goons, but if the face card and the number card have the same suit, you’ll have a boss battle on your hands with lasting consequences for failure.
The ashcan edition of Wands & Laserguns is available HERE, but
we’d like to give the new version a brand new layout, more
illustrations, and a few new encounters.
This new edition will
be digest-sized, full colour and roughly 34 pages long. The physical
version will be printed by MIXAM.
We're estimating that digital fulfillment will be start in
