Troupe
A group of former theater kids—now college-aged—reunite at their hometown youth theater to stage an original play for a high-stakes competition. What begins as an exciting return quickly unravels as egos clash, roles blur, and old tensions resurface. With just 24 hours until the festival, the pressure to perform reveals cracks in their friendships, and forces them to confront how much they’ve changed, and whether the bond that once united them still holds.
The Team
Felipe Guzzo - Director and Writer
Felipe Guzzo is a Brazilian-American writer, director, and actor based in New York City. He’s a rising senior at Pace university and is incredibly excited for his next couple steps. Felipe is rooted in both theater and film, and tells stories that capture moments in time between chaos and care. He recently directed his debut short film, Bambino, which went on to win awards for Best Direction and Best Cinematography. He feels incredibly lucky to be working with such a wildly talented cast and crew, people who believe in the story and are pouring their hearts into bringing it to life. |  |
Annabella Delaluna - Executive Producer
Annabelle Delaluna is ecstatic to be collaborating with brilliant the minds behind “Troupe 453”. She is making her debut as Executive Producer, as well as playing the fabulous role of Miss “Piper”. Annabelle has her personal version of ‘troupe’ to thank for getting her to where she is today - her final year of Pace University’s BFA Acting program. Keep creating! |  |

Nico Frankino - Exec. Producer & Cinematographer
Nico Frankino is an Italian-American director, producer, and cinematographer based in New York City. He is proud to be a part of this upcoming film and to work with the extremely talented cast and crew of Troupe 453. The images below are stills from Nico’s cinematography reel, showcasing his capabilities. He and Richard Eldredge, the gaffer for Troupe 453, lit the scenes together. These stills were both captured and color-graded by Nico Frankino.
Budget Breakdown
Budget BreakdownWe are looking for $3,000 to fund the movie. This money will be used
for equipment, food, housing and transportation. Below is a graph of
estimates of how the money will be used. We will be putting half the
budget into equipment to ensure the best picture for the entire film.
This includes camera gear, lights, etc. The second largest portion is
for location rentals and the rest will be for food and transportation
to keep our crew and cast fed.
