WHAT IS TRANS MAG:

The Trans Mag will be an all-trans focused magazine centering on uplifting art, research, and expression of trans individuals from around the world. The magazine will be a mixture of National Geographic, Playboy, Boy's Life, a Comic Book, and an Art Magazine. However, all of the work featured will be by trans/NB/GNC individuals. Every issue will include features and articles from trans-focused research, comic strips (NSFW allowed) of original work by trans artists, trans artist spotlights, resources and organizations for trans individuals, a trans pin-up model (Playboy style), and hand-made art and stickers!! It will be an all encompassing place for art, community, resources, and trans joy. 

WHAT EACH ISSUE WILL INCLUDE ONCE PRINTED:

1. Magazine (6" x 9")

2. NSFW Trans Pin-Up poster (insert)

3. Original piece of Linocut Art

4. Exclusive Trans Mag Issue #1 Sticker

WHY I'M CREATING THIS:

It is an unprecedented and scary time for the Trans Community right now. Censorship and violence against Trans lives has created a fearful and angry response from people in trans/NB/GNC identities. My friends and personal community are mostly Trans individuals who have been affected by this change in attitude, and I want to do something to fight this. 

WHAT YOUR DONATION HELPS COVER:

I've been put in touch with a printer and have hundreds of Trans artist friends and colleagues. However, because this is the first issue of this magazine, I need help hitting my initial printing costs so I can get this off the ground. I am a working artist and money is tight in NYC always. Any and every donation would mean the world to me to make this a possibility. Once it's printed, I will have these for sale online for shipping and in person at Trans Art Bazaar events! You're assistance would help keep the Trans community thriving and alive over the uncertain next couple of years. 

WHEN IT'S PRINTED:

Once I receive the physical copies of the magazine, my goal is to sell them at $25/each. This will also help recoup printing costs, pay the artists that will be featured, and put down printing costs for the SECOND issue.
