Logline:

About Me and My "Why":
I am Kate Thorne, an actress, writer, director and for this project, a few other titles. My passion for the written word has made its way to the visuals in my love of film and to this project. I was hired as an actress and believed in the story so much, I decided to collaborate with the person who hired me and came up with this idea in the first place, Carlos Barraza. We have worked together on every aspect of this project, he came up with the story, I wrote the script. We have since brought on several cast members through backstage and crew through personal connections in the industry, working with some of the most dedicated creators I have come by.
The Story:
The Agent is an action-comedy following Natasha, the young but gifted special operations agent navigating her role in law enforcement after a traumatic past until the pressure of being unstoppable, stops her. She is dropped from the force following a detrimental accident. Facing total betrayal from the department she gave everything to, her commanding sergeant turns on her, using the mistake to demean her. To prove she isn't broken by the system that abandoned her and regain her place amongst her peers she must take on a trainee that could not be more different from her. In the midst of tracking down and recovering dangerous new technology the pair encounter a Russian agent hired to capture, but not kill them, not yet. Natasha realizes this threat goes beyond what she has ever encountered and that her once reliable independent tactics will be rendered useless should she go at it alone.
