Hi, I’m Lilian Sue . As a PR coach and publicist, I’m in the storytelling and relationship building business . I empower creative entrepreneurs and associations just like you to develop strong PR mindsets and learn how to build PR strategies that will achieve your goals of business growth, sales and recognition. 

I provide entrepreneurs with 1:1 personalized support and guidance   to gain clarity on your goals, perspective on your strategies and help you brainstorm new ideas on how to move forward. I’ve given workshops on how to build strong PR mindsets and launch successful PR campaigns for Women in Publishing, Indie Romance Authors and been featured on podcasts such as Self Publishing Formula, Resilient Series and Brave New Women. 

After inquiries and interest from author friends and clients, I decided to write The Powerful Publicity Prescription to provide creative entrepreneurs and nonprofit associations with guidance on how and why PR is powerful and an in-depth understanding of how to build a strong mindset and a successful campaign, step by step, building block by building block.

What’s In the Book?

Covering everything from the history of PR to what to do once you have a piece of media coverage go live, the book will lead you through how to recognize what triggers fear, anxiety and imposter syndrome that may stand in your way and how to build healthy coping mechanisms for a better mindset.

• It will educate you about the different forms of PR,
• Walk you through why each building block is vital to developing a successful strategy
• Give you step by step guidance on how to build everything from an exciting media kit that will attract attention to the media database that will get your story in front of the right people .
• You’ll learn how to brainstorm specific concrete goals for each campaign and how to develop the key results to measure its success. 

With real world case studies and examples pulled directly from my own client roster, you’ll get industry success stories that will help you build frameworks directly tailored to your specific business, projects and goals. 

How’s It Going?

The book has gone through two rounds of self editing. The plan is to work with a non fiction editor, a cover designer (the current cover is a mock up) and formatter to get the book ready for publication, with both paperback and ebook editions. 

I also have a companion workbook and glossary in the works to give you a deeper understanding of the world of PR terminology and help you brainstorm ideas and develop a successful PR campaign . Both of these partner books will also be available via ebook and paperback as well.

As the publishing process can get expensive, I wanted to give you some detail of the general costs of publishing for three books

• Editing: $3000
• Cover Design: $3000
• Formatting: $2000
• Printing/Shipping: $2000

As you can see, it’s approximately $12K just to get to launch! If it goes well, I’d love to do another round to support a book & workshop tour to educate fantastic nonprofits on how to launch successful PR campaigns as well as a podcast to continue providing insightful, empowering and educating perspectives to entrepreneurs.

As I mentioned above, I want to be able to offer the book along with the companion workbook and glossary to a worldwide audience of creative entrepreneurs, nonprofit associations and startups as well as  launch a podcast and a book/speaking tour to continue to provide personalized guidance and support to associations and individual business owners who can benefit.
