The Summit Squad is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing women a platform to share their stories, uniting others and demonstrating that we are not defined by our past.

Our journey began with the largest free-standing mountain in the world: Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. Chosen to showcase the ‘power of she,’ three remarkable women endeavored to summit Africa's tallest peak in the fall of 2022.

Their powerful journey to Africa, marked by their stories of overcoming sexual assault, suicidal thoughts, and homophobia, will be captured in an upcoming Summit Squad documentary. This film is not just about physical prowess; it profoundly highlights the strength in overcoming life’s toughest challenges.

We raised nearly $30,000 for the journey to Africa, filming their climb and returning to the states to film in each of their hometowns.

We now are raising $10,000 for the editing of the film to finish the project before we take it on the festival circuit.
