A prolific independent filmmaker, BB has directed 10 feature-length films along with dozens of short films and music videos. Raised near Athens, Georgia, BB studied at Bible college and seminary before continuing film training at Santa Monica College. With a foundation in performance, BB trained at the Sanford Meisner Institute, Stella Adler Academy, and Alliance Theatre.

In the past six months alone, BB has completed three feature films exploring urgent social issues—including veterans’ struggles, school shootings, and systemic failures in healthcare. His current project continues this focus, examining the lives of refugees fleeing Mexico and Central and South America, with an unflinching lens on institutional neglect.
