Hello everyone, we are Nancy and Janny, we have deep passion in philanthropy. We enjoy giving back to the society, we grew up in abject poverty so we find joy and satisfaction when helping those who lack and need our help most. We are both Christians, brought up in strong christian Catholic faith where we put our faith into practice, by practicing what we preach. We have been lay missionaries with the Catholic Lay Missionaries group of Kenya, since the year 2004. We have for many years now joined hands in starting two important initiatives that felt in line with our faith,professions and passion. We both started an organisation on Slum Girls Initiative, where we work towards restoring dignity and confidence to the girls, young women and young mothers living in Kenya's informal settlement areas(slums), in and beyond Korogocho in Nairobi environs. Alongside it, we saw the need to start a school we call as, Gifted Inclusive Schools(GIS), where we exist to serve the most vulnerable children within Korogocho and other slums, as well as other areas like Mathare, Kiambiu and Dandora. We offer Education, Feeding program and sponsorship for the children.
