Lory Ambrosini is an independent Filmmaker and Director, Producer, Writer and Showrunner for television and motion pictures. Her projects showcase a unique ability to gain entrance into worlds that are formidable and daunting to access. Her films strive to capture the American experience.

Ambrosini is known for directing, executive producing, and writing the full-length documentary feature “Bulletproof Wings” that follows American rock band Edison's Armed Forces tour on the volatile frontlines of the Iraq War. She recently created, directed, and executive produced the HBO documentary series, “The Travellers of Murphy Village”. Currently, she is in Post-Production on "The Hive", a feature length genre bending documentary about the Transcendental Meditation Organization. Ambrosini has created and developed content for and with production companies, including Bunim/Murray, Entertainment One, and NBC Universal, for networks and streamers like HBO Max, CBS, and Discovery. She was part of the team behind the Emmy-winning 2015 Super Bowl spot “Like a Girl”.
