About Me, Our Work & Why Your Support Matters
Hi, I’m Duffy, founder of Duffy’s Moon Pictures, LLP. I’m an independent filmmaker, author, and advocate creating stories without studio backing, without privilege, and without following Hollywood’s formula.
I live with disability and survived years of bullying, trauma, and being told I didn’t belong. Storytelling became how I survived—and how I fight back. It’s my way of making sure others who feel invisible know they are not alone.
That journey led to my book, Forged in Fire: The Journey of Duffy, and to the films we create—stories rooted in survival, resilience, and truth.
At Duffy’s Moon Pictures, we create horror, drama, fantasy, and genre-blending films that confront bullying, mental health struggles, disability and neurodivergent experiences, abuse, and survival. Genre allows us to tell hard truths boldly, honestly, and without apology.
We do not meet or follow Hollywood’s formula, and we have no studio backing. Everything we create is built from the ground up through determination and community support.
Your donation directly helps keep this work alive. It supports development, production costs, accessibility needs, equipment, and the ability to continue telling stories the industry often ignores.
If you believe underrepresented voices deserve to be heard—and that survival stories matter—please consider donating and standing with us.
Thank you for believing in Duffy’s Moon Pictures, LLP and in storytelling born from resilience.
