Karrie A. Lyons-Munkittrick
Karrie A. Lyons-Munkittrick Owner of WeeDot Art Studio, LLC and Mutil-Media Art Studio
She was born in Dunedin, Florida in 1974. From a very early age,
she knew that her talents centered on creative endeavors. When she
was asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, her response was a
resounding “I want to be an artist”.
She attended Largo High School in Largo, Florida where she took
every art class she could including a Commercial Art program, now
referred to broadly as a graphic design education. Through the
enthusiasm of a very inspired teacher and her peers, Karrie defined
her own art form lovingly called WeeDot in 1991, which still
inspires her today as she continues to create wonderful work in her
personal style.
She met her husband, Michael in 1994 in Clearwater, Florida and
married in 1995. They moved to Gainesville, Florida 1998 and have 2 children.
Currently Karrie is a full-time freelance graphic designer/fine
artist/short movie director and she say's "It's the best job
EVER!" She is a “tell it like is” kind of girl who stands up
for what she believes is right, creates from her heart, always lends
a hand and never back down from a challenge.
In 2019 to present, Karrie started working with Darkstone Entertainment as a PA, AP and Producer, Prop Designer, Graphic Artists and Actor for Darkstone's Films.
In Dec 2024 to Jan 20255 Karrie made her 1st short movie short "Play In Order". Shot 80% by herself with her cell phone. Currently out on youtube.
In Aug - Oct 2025 Karrie written and directed and shot with her cell phone a storyline short for The Grimm Star project. Currently on YouTube. Storyline "The Stitcher". Project involves 8 director's storylines of what happens in a 7 hours night in Nilbog, VA when a evil app takes over one night.
In Oct 2025 Karrie wrote and directed a short movie for Big Damn Films Anthology. Arbor Day: The Root of All Evil. Which is in post production and to be released April 2026.
