Golden Bee Productions was formed specifically to inform, educate, and share the wisdom from the bees. Beginning with Paula's Dream and a call to Cocos Keeling islands, recording the planning of the adventure, to leave behind business, Greg's job, and our home in Somerset to spend a year living in a remote Islamic community on an Australian Indian Ocean Territory. Bees were introduced onto Cocos in the 1940s. They are healthy, with no diseases or varroa, a pristine environment, year round nectar and pollen availability yet on the edge of climate change with the ground level being a mere 1.5 metres. Some tides are 1.52! 

What can we learn from these bees when they are left to enjoy nature? Which hives are best in a tropical climate? How do bees help to heal past traumas? How healthy is the honey they are producing? 

Working with scientists, Apimaye beehives, professional camera crew and  creative directors, Paula & Greg are working to produce beautiful footage with an awe inspiring storyline. 

How can a dream of 32 years ago be connected with the Isle of Wight, healing traumas, slave trading, climate change, plastic beehives, marine pollution, honey, a B&B in Yorkshire, a teacher, and a South African Photographer? 

Everything leads to Cocos, as a microcosm of the rest of the problems of the world, if the bees can heal these islands, the bees can heal the world.
