### Who We Are

The **Accessible Tax Filing Support Association (ATFSA)** is a community-driven non-profit dedicated to ensuring that everyone—regardless of income, physical ability, or neurodiversity—can navigate the tax system with dignity.

For millions of people, filing taxes isn't just about paperwork; it is the single most important gateway to essential government benefits, child tax credits, and disability supports.  When people are left behind by the tax system, they are left behind by the social safety net. We exist to bridge that gap.

The standard tax filing process assumes stable internet, high literacy, physical mobility, and spare income for software or accountants.  For vulnerable populations, these assumptions become massive barriers.
