Ravensport was founded 200 years ago by a group of wealthy human and elven families. The city existed for generations largely unnoticed with a great divide between the rich founders and the poor sailors and fishermen who occupied the dockyard. In recent years, as the Dwarven Kingdom opened to the world, Ravensport has become one of the largest, wealthiest cities in the empire. The city quickly became a gateway of trade. The harbor offers access to the eastern shores of the empire and the dwarven ports to the north and the new railway has made travel to the west faster than ever before. Though the population remains mostly human, there is now a large dwarven community living primarily within the crafting and dock districts. Many have grown wealthy from the new trade with the empire, human and dwarf alike. A new community of great mansions has been constructed on the southern side of the river, rivaling the descendants of the town’s wealthy founders who have made the north of the city their home.

The Blackcroft Manor is an elegant estate settled on a high rocky cliffside North of the city of Ravensport. Within its walls lie the secrets to the haunted tale of Dr. Ivan Foale. Rumors surround his family’s short residence there and the hauntings within the home which led to Ivan’s delve into the occult. After only two years, both his wife Christine and son Thomas had died under mysterious circumstances. Ivan became a recluse, working solely on building a complex crypt below the estate. Strange stories surrounded the manor until one fateful night, a spawn of zombies descended on the town of Ravensport. Ivan Foale was arrested and hanged for the crime of necromancy. Nothing was heard from the Foale family for ten years, until the eve of his only daughter’s wedding. She disappeared without a trace, along with her fiance. She was only the first of what came to be a series of disappearances over the next five years. Do you have what it takes to face the haunted crypts of Blackcroft Manor and solve the mysteries that lay stirring beneath the surface?
