This campaign is to fund a printed run of the TTRPG Paratype along with adding a new module and artwork!
WHAT IS PARATYPE?
At the end of the everything, embrace a new insect identity.
Play as a human in a post-apocalyptic world infested with giant mutant bugs in Paratype , a 3-5 player RPG about survival and adaptation. Splice your DNA with that of the new insect overlords to gain various mutations to help tackle your new ever changing environment.
For our module, take on a new challenge of not only facing the
end of the world but the dangers of the interstate highway as you
traverse your way all the way from Maine to Florida. Take advantage
of new skills, modifications and a new category of character: Clones
in this adventure! Choose your destination between cities along the
way each with its own encounters, trades, friends and enemies to be found.
Paratype is currently 54 pages, with the new content being
added page estimates are closer to 70-100 pages.

WHY THE CAMPAIGN?
All proceeds from this campaign will go towards editing, printing costs and payment for five onboard artists: Caileigh Kolasa, Chris Kennamer, Cybear , Mars Drake (game creator) and Michelle Delgado. Any additional copies of the game will be sold wholesale to local game stores or online for purchase.
We are committed to using NO AI throughout the creation of
Paratype! All art done will be created by real artists.
WHO IS RUNNING THIS?

WHEN'S IT COMING OUT?
The projected deadline is for the Paratype book prints to be completed by October and shipped by November, hopefully in time to arrive before the holidays. Any delays will be made known to backers. The updates on the module and play tests will be live for backers to try out before printed copies are made so feel free to check them out as the edits are underway!

RISKS
The central risks with Paratype mainly circulate around printing, with the potential that if there is an error in the printing process fulfillment may take a few months longer than anticipated. Backers will be updated in the event that this happens.

- Double the artwork! All artists will complete additional pieces to be added to the book. Additional artists may be brought on to create extra pages/layouts.

The Module
What is it?
In Paratype I-95 take on a new challenge of not only facing the end of the world but the dangers of the interstate highway as you traverse your way all the way from Maine to Florida. Each state along the road will allow for choices, making any
play through of the module unique. These individual encounters can be
taken and used as one-shots or as a full campaign.
Take on various challenges from warring settlements to the ethics of robotics or strange meteorites falling from the sky. Learn how the world ended, and maybe even how to fix it on your way. Featuring real landmarks to check out during your next road trip across America, Paratype I-95 is a more survival and exploration based take on the game.
