Jim Ventura was born in East Chicago, Indiana.   As a kid, Jim loved watching early morning cartoons every Saturday.  His favorite characters were Mighty Mouse and The Marvel Comics Superheroes.  His favorite children’s books author is R.L. Stine, the creator of the “Goosebumps” book series.

 Jim’s dream was to create a special breed of superheroes (positive role models) that deal with real situations affecting kids and teenagers such as drugs, bullying, obesity, health, food and nutrition!  And so, the “Incredible Street Freaks” were born.

The Street Freaks characters are mutants, “Super B” a banana, “Chilly “a hot pepper and “Boom” a pickle (were featured in a comic titled “The Incredible Street Freaks and a paperback titled “The Chest”. Small production runs (3,000 copies of each) showed the potential popularity of the characters and proved successful as both prints sold out! But unfortunately, due to family health issues, the Street Freaks were put on hold.

After receiving many emails and inquiries about Street Freaks and the need in Hollywood for Superheroes possessing more humanlike characteristics, Jim knew it was time for the Street Freaks to return and the Incredible Street Freaks movie script was written!

Who are the Street Freaks and what makes them unique?   The Street Freaks characters are half human/half vegetable mutants. The movie offers a different type of Superhero characters The Street Freaks are funny, clumsy, and possess human-like characteristics with extraordinary powers and skills. The Incredible Street Freaks movie is geared for kids, teenagers and family. The movie offers action, crisis, humor and cool fight scenes taking place in an “urban setting”.  The movie offers an underlying moral theme of overcoming odds by doing the positive things. The Street Freaks are cooler and funnier like the Ninja Turtles but vastly different. 

A key reason for shooting Incredible Street Freaks Movie “” now is because the window of opportunity for films of this sort is “wide open”. Specifically, films with similar target audience, cost, and genre have fared exceptionally well in recent years.
In the last few years, most films based on subject matter that involved an urban setting (which is the setting for “Incredible Street Freaks Movie”) has been a financial success.
