Chesley Nooseneck! He's just a little guy who is kinda shy, kinda dumb, and kinda gullible. If you agree to obtain a copy of the Here Comes...Chesley full-color comic book into your home, you will find the pages filled with short stories about Chesley and the colorful characters that surround him. Folks like his best friend, Morty, a rich kid who loves candy and money. Bert Crime, the local wino who does what he can to get that next bottle. And don't forgot Grammah Nooseneck, the weird old lady charged with raising Chesley. You'll meet all these characters and more in 28 pages of hand drawn no-nonsense comics.

WHAT ELSE YOU GOT?

You want more? Well, in the creation of Chesley, there were many false starts and doodles. I am putting together a zine filled with all the stuff destined for the dust bin. I'm calling it This is a Test and it'll be black and white and will run 20 pages (or more!). 

WHAT ABOUT STICKY STUFF?

You are in luck, I have designed 2 stickers. One is a basic bumper sticker of the Chesley logo so everyone on the road will know that you know. And a campaign sticker because I guess Chesley is running for Dog-Catcher or something. Weird. But okay.

I LOVE ORIGINAL ART, ANYTHING FOR ME?

Why, yes I do. I am offering a 6x8 drawing of Chesley drawn by your host with india ink on bristol board. And not only that, you can buy original Chesley pages from this very comic book. Neat, huh? I'm putting up 5 pages to start. If they sell out, I'll add more.

WHAT'S THE DOUGH FOR, HUH?

If the goal is met, it will pay for the printing costs of the comics and the various other rewards offered. Anything over that will contribute to my page rate in the creation of this new comic. Please know that your financial support is going to help a real life cartoonist pay the bills. 

WHEN WILL I GET THE COMIC?

As I write this the line art is 80 percent done so I'm well on my way being finished soon. To account for time to draw the remaining pages, color the pages and all the other pre-production I am estimating July 2024 to start shipping the books out to backers.

ABOUT THE CARTOONIST

Charles Forsman(you can call me Chuck) graduated from The Center for Cartoon Studies in 2008 and since then he has self published comics of his own making. Often dealing with the pain of being alive, his comics can be sad, weird, and a little funny. And sometimes he makes violent action comics. His self-published series Snake Oil won three Ignatz Awards a long time ago. Two of his comics have been adapted into TV series for Channel4 and Netflix: The End of the Fxxxing World and I Am Not Okay With This. Weird, right?!
