This award-winning children's horror anthology, "Fantastic Frights", features 14 chilling tales by 20 creators, and Cloudscape Comics is looking to reprint this amazing book. Drawing inspiration from shows like " Tales from the Crypt" and "Freaky Stories", Fantastic Frights is a dreadfully delightful return to the pulp horror comic anthologies of the past, with an all-ages twist. Featuring stories from creators that are sure to entertain both new readers and seasoned horror veterans alike! This award-winning anthology is crowdfunding its second printing!

 

Fantastic Frights is a 140-page, 6x9 inch, softcover book. The interior pages of the book are designed entirely in pink and blue duotone, allowing the artists to tell their stories in visually unique and unexpected ways.

New to the horror genre? Fear not! Fantastic Frights promises to be enjoyable for all ages. With stories ordered from least to most scary, you can ease yourself into the horror at your own pace.

An award-winning book like this needs to offer some high-quality tiers. Which brings us to our next exciting section! The rewards!

These artists were brought together by Cloudscape Comics, BC's largest independent publisher.

The Cloudscape Comics Society is an artist collective and graphic novel publisher centered in Vancouver, Canada.  As a registered non-profit organization, proceeds from the sales of our books go towards providing developing artists with free drawing classes, studio space, a lending library, and a printing center, as well as delivering public events, talks, demonstrations, public art and of course, publishing more books!

Risks and challenges

The book is already complete and we just need your help to get it reprinted. Since we are doing a "keep it all" style campaign, we may run into the issue of not being able to pay for the desired duotone print run. If that is not possible, we will move to a digital print edition and make sure everyone who was a part of this campaign gets their books!
We have an organization full of experienced comics industry volunteers who will be working hard to make the whole process as smooth as possible. That said, we acknowledge that sometimes things come up that are out of our control. We will be transparent in our communication of any unexpected delays throughout the entire process of this Crowdfundr campaign. 

It's our number one goal to get this project completed to your satisfaction so please don't hesitate to ask us any questions you might have. We'll make sure to get back to you ASAP.
