Ever been to Build Week at Burning Man?  It's different - everyone is under pressure to get stuff done.  And, getting stuff done is done better with coffee in your body!

Shots Fired started bringing coffee to Burning Man in 2013, with a bespoke propane powered steampunk espresso machine.  In 2016, we brought "The Big Drip" - a parallel processing drip setup -  to build week to help the artists get going.  We set up opposite the ARTery and had a morning coffee thing for the artists.  

Demand grew, and we switched from "one shot at a time espresso" to drip coffee.  When the Center Camp Cafe closed, demand greatly increased and we switched to cold brew.  We serve GALLONS of cold brew each day.   Cold brew is tasty when done right, and has essentially no waste water generated in the brewing process.  That is why we switched.  If you get there early, we serve pourovers till things get humming.

We buy good coffee, sourced from the same roaster that supplied the beans to the Center Camp Cafe, so it is the taste you know and love.  People enjoy the experience, so even if you can't get there during build week and see for yourself, your generosity will benefit the folks that get the party going.

Doing coffee right is expensive and you can help.  Our on playa expenses are now up to a buck a cup!  Every donated dollar goes into the cup, and is used for consumable supplies.

Our fundraising goal is $2500 to cover the beans, water, propane, milks - we provide what goes in the cup - BUT EVEN A VIRGIN KNOWS TO BRING A CUP TO BURNING MAN!!!  Show up without one, and you will sing us a song to get a cup.
