I am asking for help from you to donate for an Instillation I created called Being Black in America it is a series that will target cities within America that have been implementing racial injustice and racial inequity and poses as a social equity community but truly is not. Being Black in America expresses the side of the Black Experiences that have not been told or seen in this form; Visual art Depiction of the issues, an Instillation bringing Broad stories brought to life on the walls, the diary of the Black experience, History in our experiences today that effect the new generation, natural stimulating areas to fight mental health and multiple interactive pieces.

This project exposes the most vulnerable of the black community and exposes the most depth of today’s racial climate. Being Black in America will show the beauty within the black community as well as the pain. Displaying art from myself and some of Detroits finest artists will be able to incorporate their stories and their artwork.

Being Black in Detroit and Chicago are the next Cities to tackle the present-day issues paining the Black Community from Mental Health, Racial Inequality, and Injustices. There’s a lot of talking but not a lot of action As the Artist I plan to do an interactive and community engaging Art piece to tackle these issues.
