I’ve been writing music for years. I never thought that I would pursue a career as an Artist. I didn’t think it was tangible for me. The past couple years I have embarked on a beautiful journey with God and decided to take a chance. I’ve always been passionate about music it’s been my light in a very dark life I’ve lived. This project will be my debut. First Ep and Album. The Ep is comprised of 6 songs. The album is called Somber and it has 15 songs. I need crowdfund because I’m not in a good financial situation to support an Album. My first two songs I’ve recorded, mix and mastered myself. As a beginner with limited resources and no access to a good interface for music production there was only so much I could contribute to the sound. I wasn’t happy with the results I felt like the potential and quality of the songs could be better. I will use the money for booking studio session, mix and mastering as well as paying for beat licensing. I’m kind of in a hard and rock place. Lost my job recently got evicted and no matter the obstacles I’m fully invested in my dreams. I believe that with the help and resources these projects can be great .  I don’t have any support. Everyone that I have tried to talk to has laughed or shut me down making me feel like I will never have that chance or opportunity to actually see my potential or bring my projects to life. Being an Artist isn’t easy especially when people can’t see the vision. To anyone and everyone reading this that might feel the same or is going through similar situations. Don’t stop, dream big, no matter how hard it feels no matter how many doors have been shut in your face. Keep going, keep persevering and have faith that through God all things are possible. You might have heard a thousand no’s … but all you need is one yes.
