Hi,

My name is Gabriel Calderon for those who don’t know me, I’m currently a graduate student at Sacred heart in their film program FTMA.For as long as I can remember all I’ve wanted to do is make films in any capacity and I dedicated my life to this end because I believe in the value film and tv brings to our world.

I have often been told to quit my pursuit of filmmaking for a variety of reasons. One of my biggest hurdles being that I’m actually handicapped from a childhood injury that resulted in me being unable to use my left hand, and the other being that this industry simply isn’t known for being easy to break into.

I currently have a short film “Day-job” (working title) that I have co-written with a good friend of mine, Jennifer Atkinson, and we believe this film has a meaningful and powerful message and we want to bring the story to life on screen.

Even though I work outside of school after paying all my expenses, I’m left with a limited amount of funds to put towards this film.

I have been able to save up enough to ensure I can make this film but by raising money I’m hoping I’ll be able to utilize it to ensure the quality of this project is not limited by my personal budget. To anyone who donates you will automatically get a private link to view the final cut of the film.

The funding would go towards making the film in a way that ensures I don’t cut any corners due to budget restrictions. Even if I don’t reach my intended goal of 2000$ any amount whether its 5$ or 20$, it goes a long way in helping me create my film
