My name is Mark,a Kenyan citizen in East Africa, I have harbored a lifelong passion for baking, and my dream is to open a pastry shop where I could share my skills with the people in my community. However, I'm facing a daunting obstacle - I lack the necessary funds to turn this dream into a realty
My passion for baking grew up when I once visited my aunt who taught
me how to bake.she was making money from making short cakes ,
comparing that to what my mom was going through after my father passed
away when we were still in school and no one could support her. I was
very eager to learn the skills so that I could help My mother in
raising money to support my siblings. My aunt encouraged me to take
that seriously as it will help me achieve my dreams, unfortunately she
also passed away from stroke. It was hard for me but I said I must
finish this journey, because fortunately I had acquired all the
necessary to go on my own.
I have explored various avenues for
financing this venture but I have encountered roadblocks at every
turn. It seems as though my dream is slipping further away.Now the
challenge remains to kick start the project, that is why I am here
pleading with crowdfund for support in this noble cause. Deep within
my heart, I refused to give up.
I learnt about crowdfunding through Google news and that's why I come to you kindly requesting for your financial support, and by supporting my dream it's not only funding the pastry shop but it's also investing in the transformation of a community where by there will be a sense of joy, humor and togetherness resulting from jobs created from the pastry shop, which you will be part of. This will empower women and youths as they will earn money and moral support.
