Hello! I’m Joe Godley, creator of Walzon Prime. I am beyond excited to update you on the future of the podcast and how you can help make it possible!

For those new to the story, it’s set in a world where everything – soap…paper towels… babies – is purchased on Walzon dot com. Organic birth is out . Designer births are in . Our protagonist, Jae, is the first eighteen-year-old ever ordered in Walzon history. Stuck between the family that rejected him and the corporation obsessed with reclaiming their “merchandise,” Jae embarks on a journey through a hyper-consumerist dystopia to find home and himself. 

I began writing Walzon Prime in 2019. After years of hard work with my sound guru, Will Manning, we produced six mini-episodes and then consolidated them into a single pilot. That pilot was nominated for Best Indie Podcast at the 2022 Ambie Awards for Excellence in Audio: the Oscars of podcasting.

Will and I love working on Walzon Prime, but we don’t want to wait years to bring you more content. To create a podcast that releases regular episodes, we need to hire additional team members, and to grow the team, we need your help.

To complete season one by producing nine more episodes, we need to reach our goal of $13k. Your donation will go directly to independent writers, actors, and sound designers, because I don’t believe in systems that “employ” artists to work for free. Any amount we’re lucky enough to raise over that goal will go half to the artists and half toward a season two fund.
