What are S.A.D. Zines?
S.A.D. (small and delightful) Zines are tiny games that connect you to yourself and the place around you through the lens of everyday objects and natural features.
They are an invitation to slow down, look around, look inside, and see and feel things in a gentle and held way. What mundane joy might you find, in the ordinary magic around you?
I've also had many parents tell me the S.A.D. Zines are great for engaging with kids, getting them outside and being creative!
Each zine is made of 1 A4 page, folded into an 8 page zine (sometime called a 'zini'). Written in simple and sometimes poetic English, these zines are perfect to slip in your pocket and take with you on short notice.
**The zines in the video are prototypes. The final product will be on higher quality paper, with illustrations to be finalised.

After the success of S.A.D. Zines Volume 1, I am proud to announce Volume 2 is ready to follow in its footsteps. Volume 2 is made of:

What can you get?
You can choose either the Digital or Physical reward.
For Digital, you will receive all 4 Volume 2 zines as PDFs. There are both computer-friendly and print-at-home versions.
For Physical, you will receive all 4 Volume 2 zines in the mail. They will be printed in colour, on sturdy 100gsm paper made of recycled stock. You will also receive the Digital rewards.
What are we raising funds for?
As mentioned, the S.A.D. Zines are the perfect portable game, so we're raising money for a print run! Anything over the goal will be used to pay me (Logan) back for labour, and to prepare for future projects.
Shipping and logistics
The size and weight of S.A.D. Zines Volume 2 is near identical to Volume 1. With Volume 1, shipping went smoothly. Costs remained within budget, and all zines found their homes. Given this previous experience, I am confident I will deliver a similarly smooth experience with Volume 2.
Once funds land on my end, I can order the print copies. I then have to wait for my printer to print and send the zines to me, before packing and shipping them to you. I aim for fulfilment to be completed by June of 2023.
As with Volume 1, I cannot guarantee when exactly your physical zines will arrive. Much has changed over the last few years as a result of the pandemic. I can only promise that I will post them to you in a timely manner, and leave the rest up to postal services.
