A few years ago now a story was written with the idea of the book becoming a film. The self-published novel is out there to view, and as an audiobook, however the goal was never to become a No. 1 Bestseller. It's always been to make a movie!
I'll explain more about the book and film below. First, I want to explain how the funding will be used.
BGH Productions Ltd is in the pre-development stage and beginning to outline the project. We are using StudioBinder to create a fully developed plan. There are already some costs being covered internally, everyone helping is volunteering time, but now we are starting to enter the realm of serious expenses as we start going further with the planning.
One area we are keen to make sure looks as professional as possible will be the visual effects.
The locations and actors are going to be sourced locally. As many as possible will be negotiated with to support the movie in the south west of England. The hope being that this is the start of more work.
Every penny donated is going towards the development of the movie, which will one day be something you can watch, knowing you helped create it 👏📽
The Movie Outline:
The film starts with a young boy (Ben) having a really traumatic childhood. We meet the alcoholic mum and the always away dad, who is actually a secret assassin.
In the boys worst moments he is helped and shown a way forwards by mysterious God-like creatures called Freolans. They go further and train him to become a warrior and a leader as the end of humanity approaches.
Ben grows into a man and with his friends go on an action packed journey to start their own billion dollar community.
The world is scorched and everything changes.
Ben is older now, has been through so much but he still has a mission set for him by the Freolans. But things are not as they seem. Death and violence follow Ben everywhere influencing the people and Freolans around him. In the end, can Ben and his family help humanity survive?
