My name is Amber Ewing. I’m the creator of a new series called
Cooking with Comedians Challenge. Since a little girl it’s been my
lifelong dream to produce and direct my own TV series. About four
years ago, I made the decision to do stand-up comedy. I have had some
successes. However, my true passion lies in writing/directing.
WHAT:
Cooking with Comedians Challenge (c3) is an episodic cooking competition between two comedians. They battle it out through wits and cooking. Only one can be crowned Comedian Chef Champion. They are judged by another professional chef and another comedian. They are scored on taste, technique and presentation.
WHEN:
C3 is currently shooting episodes 2-4. We have to start season 2
because of the high demand to be a contestant. In 30 days we would
like to reach our goal.
HOW:
The cost to create an episode is quite a bit. The venue has to be rented and crew and talent have to be compensated. Because this is my dream and im responsible for it. So I’ve been funding the series so far. However, as a single mom and everything else that comes with inflation, it’s starting to be more than I can handle financially.
