Jake Barnes’ problem is that he is in love with Lady “Brett” Ashley, a woman who is quick to seduce a man she is attracted to. When Jake’s writer friend, Robert Cohn, is introduced to her he takes an instant liking which causes a rift between the friends. Despite the tension that arises, Jake’s love and devotion to Brett will never fade.

The Crew
James Caley has directed a number of award-winning shorts. His previous film 'Vision of the Vampyre' won over 19 awards and screened internationally. His previous short film 'The World It Seems' won several awards at international film festivals.
He is currently based in Sydney.
