Hello everyone, my name is Brionnah Samuels. Im a 22 year old entrepreneur with a passion for fashion. I first fell in love with fashion when I began watching Project Runway at a young age and right then and there I knew I wanted to be a designer. The way the the designers made fabric strut so fiercely down the runway lit a spark inside me and instantly I thought "thats what I want to do". I carried that love inside me for years until life happened, and slowly but surely my passion got drowned out by the noise of life. But over the last year something in me sparked once again, reminding me of the love I once had. All the memories of sewing came rushing back, the joy I felt from making clothes began to re-ignite within me. Every time I walk into a fabric shop I feel like a kid in a candy store, amazed at all the possibilities around me. I know God placed this vision on the inside of me because of the immense joy and responsibility I feel for this cause.
Furthermore, I've decided to start my own fashion brand to not only highlight my adoration for fashion but to also solve an issue that we are faced with daily. Synthetic fibers in our clothes. A vast majority of the clothes we wear everyday are laced with synthetic fibers, harmful dyes and hazardous chemicals. Wearing clothing that contain contaminants such as phthalates and PFAS are causing detrimental effects to our health. Why should we have to sacrifice our well-being just to be best dressed in the room?
To address this issue, I plan to create high quality, non-toxic and hypo-allergenic loungewear garments that will not only leave you feeling confident but improve quality of life. With the help of your donation you can assist with project expenses to essentially bring my vision to life.
