1. The reason why we decided to embark on this project is because we are a group of childhood friends who have a drive and passion for filmmaking, coming together to create something that we all wrote together. We first wrote our short film 'The Janitor' and released with great reception, and we all came together and agreed on an idea to continue it's story.
Currently we are releasing behind the scenes images and clips on our social media for the Janitor Overtime with the materials we currently already have, and a clip of us practicing our special effects has garnered over 20 million views on Instagram alone.
2. Project Synopsis:
The Janitor Overtime - One year after the events of his first night shift as a janitor, Jason (Tyler Zelenick) must face his haunting past as he moves on to becoming a school counselor.
The Janitor: Overtime is a more polished, almost-sequel, to our short film titled 'The Janitor' that we released independently on YouTube in March 2024. It will be a more fleshed out film in length, story and special effects.
The rewards we would offer any support is an invite to the in person premier for our project in Pittsburgh, PA, a film credit, and The Janitor: Overtime and Greatness Pictures merchandise.
3. We are seeking out crowdfunding for our project to upgrade our film equipment, special effects and props, marketing, and unforeseen production costs.
4. We come from almost nothing, and we are a group of buddies that believe in our filmmaking dream here in Pittsburgh. For individuals to financially support our project would not only help us in making our project better, but to help us connect and to (hopefully) make films all together.
