WHO DOESN'T LOVE THE 90s & HORROR?

We are RetroAesthic! This film is set to capture the 90s aesthetic and nostalgia. A Psychological slow burn horror with influences that range from A24 films, Stanley Kubrick, Ari Aster, David Lynch, & the Cronenbergs. The film will be very stylized, visually appealing, with a great story and character driven.

Film is a collaborative effort and will be done by a team of professionals that love cinema. We eat, sleep, and bleed movies. And we want you to be a part of this journey with us!!! WE CAN NOT DO IT WITHOUT YOUR HELP!

STORY

The story is set in early 90s and follows Jack and Ari Weaving, a young couple grieving the tragic loss of their young child. In a desperate effort to repair their relationship, they embark on a journey to a remote house in the country to participate in an unorthodox form of couple’s therapy. Instead, they find themselves facing phenomena that could either be psychological or supernatural in nature — or, perhaps, both — and find themselves fighting for their sanity and their survival.

The promo video was done on a no budget to showcase the main plots cassette tape usage on the main characters. Its extremely low quality so bare with us.

 

The money used will go to Food, Props, Cast & Crew.
