Hi! I'm a Film Maker.
I'm a DP, a stage director, a comedy
writer, a showrunner, an editor, an actress, a producer, a laughtivist
and a mom! All of those "slash"es = one really driven
creative. I have trained with the National Theater Conservatory, gone
to Film School, am Adobe Certified and live in Hollywood. I have been
extensively trained in this craft. And with all of my connections,
equipment, education and drive and hustle, I realize - this business
is hard. I've worked. very hard to get where I am and am constantly
working to learn more.
What I miss in all the technicality of the business is a good story. A really good story.
Everyone has a good story. But not everyone has the medium to tell it.
One day my daughter said, "What if there was a film festival where someone with a good idea could just make a trailer, like a visual pitch, and the winner could get their film made."
I birth brilliance. This is how Clip Tease Movie Trailer Film
Festival was born.
Through this film festival, we get to
celebrate promise, not privilege. You don't have to have an
understanding of the industry, film festivals or even how to make a
film. Hey, you don't even have to have a film!
All you have to
have is an IDEA and a a TRAILER.
Use your phone. Use your dad's
old camcorder. It doesn't matter, because we want to see your story,
and the heart behind it. Let your imagination flow. With the next big idea!

This program focuses on youth, inexperienced filmmakers,
creatives, and those in underserved communities that just want to tell
a story.
Our Film Festival will provide more than just a one-two
night experience with a few mixers. We will provide relationships,
education and support to storytellers without the industry hype and gatekeeping.
Now, The B Story: I am a cancer survivor. I had to put dreams on hold for a while to do concentrate on my most important job, staying alive.
Any filmmaker struggling with cancer, regardless of the stage is encouraged to enter at no cost and maintain a relationship with Clip Tease.
