Hello, 

Thank you so much for checking my project. 

My name is Daniel da Silva Lopes and I'm a comic book creator from Porto, Portugal. I have been drawing and creating comics since I know myself. This year I will launch my most important and personal project until now. IN THE DUST OF OUR PLANET #1.

I decided to create a funding campaign so I would be able to reach more readers and to help me in printing costs. Nothing more. The comic is almost finished and a release set is already announced where I will launch the comic in a Portuguese comic book festival. (Hey, if you wish to say Hi I will be on Maia BD this June). I wanted to do something that gave me the ability to reach a wider audience and so I thought a campaign would be a great idea. 



IN THE DUST OF OUR PLANET is the book that will bring you the stories of the SOLAR SAILORS. 

The SOLAR SAILORS are a group of humans and other species that explore the vast universe for a new home, a new planet, since Earth is gone. In its stories we will follow their struggles and adventures in every corner of the universe that you can imagine. 

The first issue will have 28 pages and will contain 3 stories. One of them will finish in the first issue and the other two will continue on the second volume (that I will release at the end of this year!). 

TRIM THEM DOWN part one - This story will be told in the inside covers of the magazine. We will follow one of the SAILORS while she visits Earth, but her visit will be the start of a very dark adventure.

THE SAME OLD MISTAKES part one - In this story we will follow our main character while he investigates the reason behind the radio silence from a human settlement.  A settlement that wanted to take their chances in a new and harsh planet. What happened to them?

DOWN THE HOLE WE GO - We will witness the last day of a daemon hunter where his actions will affect a very special character in the future of the comic. 

The first issue of IN THE DUST OF OUR PLANET consists of 28 pages in greyscale and a full color cover. The inside cover will have full color pages for the TRIM THEM DOWN story. The size is magazine size 210mm x 280mm in natural recycled paper.

I will try to keep the Perks simple and direct.  Hope you have enjoyed this little presentation and give this comic a chance.
