A team of judges must decide on the winner for a children’s talent show. When faced with a performer who challenges gender norms, their true motivations and biases become clear. The film asks what our responsibilities are, as adults, to the children in our community. How do our actions today affect future generations?

The 12 minute short will be shooting in Toronto at the end of June 2026, and we need YOUR help to make it a reality!

 

Making a short film is EXPENSIVE!
Between honorariums, crew meals, location rentals, post production costs etc. etc. etc... There's a lot of bills to pay!
Any donation, no matter how small, helps up to bring this story to life.
TALENT is a labour of love being made by a group of talented artists who are in it for the love of the game. That being said, a little cash never hurt anybody. While its true that nowadays "you can make a movie on your iphone", donating  to emerging artists helps not only the quality of our final product, but allows us to run a more comfortable and professional set, providing a better experience for all the artists involved.
By donating to this project you will be helping pay artist honorariums, enhance our production design, secure us more ideal locations and overall make is project BIGGER, BETTER, and MORE POLISHED, than we could imagine on our own.
We expect to complete post production in fall/winter 2026, ready for a spot in the 2027 festival circuit!
