Hello, I am Michael Brooks, and I have a goal of turning a book that I wrote the finished manuscript for with a few minor editing and adjustments that will not take to long to fix. I would like to turn this future book into a live action movie which I feel as though I am preparing myself for by studying at the LA Film school online and my current major is Writing for TV and Film. The company I would like to work with as connections with the entertainment industry which makes for a good fit in helping me to further my chances in turning my book into a live action film. The company name is Publishing Advantage Group, and it is not cheap. I am looking to publish my book under their best seller publishing package which will cost me two payments of 5,000 which means I am looking to raise 10,000. This book will be based in the location of Baltimore and will be a crime novel. If this book can make it on the big picture, I want a known black actor to play the role of an antagonist that becomes an anti-hero towards the end giving this book turn film into an epic unpredictable ending. If I am reaching, I think sky is the limit, but I think this role would fit two famous black actors. My first choice would be Denzel Washington before he retires so I need to acted fast in publishing this, but I need your help everyone. My second choice is Samuel Jackson even though I almost made Morgan Freeman an option, but I am not sure how he would do with gangster, and crime boss leader type roles.
My effort to turn this book into a film is the first step my school has given to me which is final draft, so I am learning to write into script. In one of my classes I have to write an entire script from start to finish so I can either write this script myself when the time comes or allow the connections from the publishing company work their magic. This book and movie will also have a few mixed races and the main female character is white with a sister that she finds out later she is related to but only finds that out through them creating a friendship that turns them into best-friends.
