Hi. My name is Edith. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about my campaign. I'm really excited to share this project with you. My goal in a nutshell is to be sponsored by donors who share the same  heart as I have for the less fortunate. I would like to enroll the less fortunate to my wellness academy on a sponsorship program and to provide them with free books and learning materials Ive created to enhance and support their mental, emotional, spiritual and physical well-being.

In my 20 years of experience working for the Severe Mental and Behavioral Health field, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible power of community and the unwavering strength that emerges when individuals unite together in pursuit of a common goal.

This project is the same for me. I have been creating content and materials on soical media, distributing it for free, to help educate the world on the importance of living a lifestyle of self-care, mental, physical and emotional wellness and the power and healthy applications of faith and spirituality. 

I personally have experienced severe trauma as an abused child, domestic violence from a 5 year toxic relationship, drugs, severe depression and worse. Including my father, mother and two sisters passing from horrible deaths. My sisters were murdered by their husbands. I prefer not to share here how my parents died. 

When I was on my last thread, in 2015, as a single mother of 3 kids, living out of my car, homeless for the 3rd time, I finally gave up. There was no resources, no friends, no family, no hope, no faith or strength to beleive for anything good to come out of my horrible traumatic life. Just when I was about to give up. God showed up and I began to learn about self-care and overall wellness for myself.

I got healed. I went to therapy. I took advantage of resources made available to me and I began to create materials, books, pamphlets and curriculums and started giving them away for free at my jobs and social media and have been doing it ever since. I now want to broaden my reach and need your help to do it

I recently lost my job (January 2023) and its now becoming frustrating and discouraging trying to find a new one. I am having no luck at all. I dont want my need to pay bills to interfere with or limit my passion to continue educating the broken and the hurting. 

I would like to go to shelters, community centers, events, residential care places, rehabs, and share my story and provide free material. I have created journals, self-care menta health books, guides, a wellness curriculum, toxic habit breaking guides, tons of information on wellness, giving people the encouragement and knowledge they need to get their power and hope back. I just dont have the financial means to do it. I have a youtube channel @selfcarewellnesslab I just started to provided free content. None of what I currently have circulating at this moment is generating any income for me right now but thats ok. I just want the freedom to give it away for free if I had the financial means to do so. I am hoping to finance the printing of my  materials, books and journals and gift it to the people I educate. I dont have the means to pay my authors fee or to travel to do so myself without financial assistance. 

Your contribution and support will be a blessing to many people. Many people who are homeless or living in mental health facilities or domestic violence shelyers and even those hiding, saved from the sex slve industry, dont have the means topurchase self help books, journals or sign up for a wellness academy but if I could get sponsors for them or a finaicual contrbution towards this goall and project, I will do whatever it takes to make this happen for as  many people as I can.
