Mindfulness, hip hop beats and alien puppets?

Hello my name is Davina.

I wanted to create a show for kindergarten to primary ages to learn meditative tools in case of any stressors in their life. My theatre school business had crumbled during COVID so I knew I had to invest in something big and loud. I used my Dad's inheritance and paid a team of professionals to help my vision come to life.

I knew puppets were a great way to connect to teach positive action and messages in a fun and playful way as Jim Henson's creations were a huge inspiration growing up! Having worked in a kindergarten I also knew how music plays a huge role in children's learning. I found some cool beats on youtube; paid for the licence and created 6 songs for the show.

Since Team Beyonds creation we have played at Clockenflap (HK Music Festival) and several schools. I eventually broke even after 6 months of hard work!

Now we have been invited to go to Camp Bestival in the UK and New York Fringe Puppet Festival this July & August.

This is a great opportunity for us, playing on international stages.  Your donation or purchase of goods will help us pay for flights, food and accommodation and if we get lucky an actual salary! Your donation will also help spread positive messages to children around the world and we can't wait to do so.

We are Leticia, Carmen, Michael, Tatiana and Davina. With enough money raised we can also bring Fish; our sound and lighting guy and another actor!
