Please join us and help continue the journey! We've begun our film festival run & some final touches on post-production work. We're excited to share the film, its message, and the amazing work of our actors and crew with audiences everywhere we can! Festivals and events are one of the best way to do this.
If you're new to the film, Welcome!, you can see more about the project below. For those of you who have been supporting us along the way, thank you again!
The mission of our project is for this film to give support to people going through their grieving process & help them find inspiration and hope to move forward. Everyone has, or will, lose a loved one at some point in their lives. Regardless of who we are or where we come from, this affects us all.
We’re asking for your help to move forward...... Our film is complete, and we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve created. **Where We Go From Here" is now an award winner- BEST DRAMA FILM-Atlanta Short Film Festival Spring 2025!! Now, we need your support to bring it to a wider audience.
This post-production fundraiser will help us:
-
Submit to more film to festivals
-
Raise awareness around grief, healing, and the power of support
-
Cover final post-production and festival-related costs
***Whether you’ve supported us before or are just discovering the project, your contribution will make a difference in helping us share this story with the world. If we reach our goal, 10% of what we raise will be donated to the Lucille Packard Children's Hospital Foundation- Family Guidance and Bereavement Program, in honor of Producer Paul Franchak's sister Stephanie, and her life and legacy, which was one of the big inspirations for the film.
The film:
Logline- The black sheep of the family, SHAUN BURASKI, is asked to deliver the eulogy for his late sister at her memorial service. Unable to confront his own suppressed feelings bubbling to the surface, he breaks down at the start of his speech and leaves. With the help of his girlfriend, SAMANTHA, his nephew, DANIEL, and a relic from his sister’s past, he returns to podium as he battles against fear, self-doubt, regrets, and personal demons in order to rise to the occasion and become a new, better man for those around him.
Thank you for your help and for joining this journey with us!
