March 4, 1909. Newly inaugurated President Taft discovers that what he believed to be a normal bathtub is, in reality, a time machine. After accidentally traveling to 1973, he finds himself in the middle of a scandal called "Watergate," and he knows he must put a stop to this man Nixon's schemes. When Nixon steals the bathtub, vowing to rule the world, Taft must work with the Keeper of Time, Abraham Lincoln, to stop him.
I love William Howard Taft, and I love time travel, so I figured why not combine them? This first six-issue arc will take Taft to watershed moments in history, such as the sinking of the Titanic, the death of Alexander the Great, and more. Along the way he will learn about leadership, bigotry, and acceptance, as well learning to overcome his own personal demons. I need your help to make it happen, though.
